Summer Reading Scheme 2017

01/08/2017

The summer reading challenge is for children to read any six books over the summer and collect rewards to mark their progress. Last year Portway had one of the largest number of pupils involved in the whole area – we want to be top again this year! This year’s theme is Animal Agents.

  •        Read at least six books over at least two visits during the summer
  •        Collectors cards, themed stickers, an app and website
  •        Complete the challenge and receive a medal, lanyard and certificate
  •        From 15 July to 17 September

The Summer Reading Challenge takes place every year during the summer holidays. You can sign up at Andover library, then read six library books of your choice, collecting stickers and other rewards along the way – all FREE. Children’s reading can ‘dip’ during the long summer break so this is a great way to keep children reading during the holiday!
