Y4 Hooke Court Residential 2018
On Wednesday 28th of November, we arrived in the school dining hall to get ready for the trip of a lifetime – Year 4s residential to Hooke Court! Year 4 were off to stay there for 3 days. We were quite nervous but extremely excited to get on the coach and set off on our amazing adventure. When we got there we were told our rooms and made our beds, with a bit of help from the teachers. We loved the food, especially the sausages! The puddings were also amazing – everyone liked the chocolate cake and ice cream! We did lots of great activities, including watching Miss Bale and Mrs Ibbotson dress up in all the equipment of a Roman solider, which looked very heavy. We did Roman cooking, wrote our Latin names in ink and completed lots of team challenges. Everyone was very brave with staying away from their family and we all agreed that we love Hooke Court! There are some photographs of our trip on the school website.
Thank you to our teachers who looked after us. It is a trip we will remember for a very long time!
