Year 3 & Flat Stanley
On Tuesday 27th September, Year 3 and Flat Stanley went on minbuses to the town centre. How wonderful it was! First we went to St Mary’s Church and looked at the monument from World War 1. Then we went through the Norman Arch which was made of stone. I wonder if Stanley was fascinated?
After that we walked down the high street and saw the Guildhall that had an Italian restaurant on the ground floor. Finally we walked along the river Anton and spotted lots of trout and a lobster! Stanley had a brilliant time and learnt lots about Andover and we enjoyed looking after him and were proud to show him our town.
