On the 11th of September, Year 6 started their Bikeability. The instructors started by explaining how to check that our bikes were ready to ride and that our bikes weren’t broken. Then they did the clothing check (which is where you check if you are wearing the right clothing for riding your bike.) After that, they put hi vis jackets on. We all started off by just riding around the playground.
On Tuesday we went out onto the road. We all learnt how to do a u turn. On the following days, we learnt how to do different things like turning into a different road and going around parked cars.
We all enjoyed Bikeability and one of the students told use that they wished they could do Bikeability forever and we hope that they come back soon!
