Parents vs. Children Challenge Evening - Nov 2017
It was great to see so many of you back at school for our November 2017 Parents vs. Children Challenge Evening - the school corridors echoed with laughter and good fun was had by all. There were some of our usual challenges - eating doughnuts without using our hands, seeing how many beer mats we could flip and the penalty shootout, but there were other newer challenges - a quiz about online safety using our Hudls and the flip cup challenge.
Thank you to everyone who came and made the evening such a success. It really was great to see so many engaging in challenges, celebrating success and really wonderful to hear of the improvements in skills since our last evening!
Some reviews and comments about the night were:
"Yet another great evening at the Parent v Child challenge! Thanks to all the staff that put all the work in to make it happen. We’ll look forward to the next one."
"Fabulous evening at the Parent vs Children challenge! My children won, but it was 1 vs 2! Thank you to all the staff who made this evening so enjoyable."
"Thank you Portway Junior for another fun parents v child (first time I’ve not lost) I even bagged a penalty! Thanks staff for all the extra time you put in to make it so much fun! #proudtobeportway!!"
If you missed the evening, then keep an eye on the school calendar to find out about the next one, it really is not to be missed! There are just a few photos below.
