Useful Information
The Thrive Approach
Our aim is to develop happy, healthy, confident children who are ready to learn. Thrive is based on years of neuroscience research, child development theory and attachment theory. Thrive helps us understand what your child needs emotionally, not just how they behave.
The Thrive Approach helps children build strong emotional foundations so they can thrive socially, emotionally, and academically. It does this by: Understanding how the brain develops at different stages, Spotting gaps in emotional development, Using activities and strategies to help fill those gaps
We use a Thrive assessments tool to Identify a child's emotional needs depending on which Thrive strand they are at we then plan targeted activities to support them and Track their progress over time. These activities might include things like: Role play, Arts and crafts, music, Physical play, Storytelling and Calming techniques.
